Boots Skincare Review

I thought I'd do a quick review of some of the products from the Boots own-brand skincare line.
From the 'essentials cucumber' line I have used (and repurchased numerous times) the makeup remover wipes, the facial toner & the hydrating eye gel.

I feel for the price (there is also usually deals on this line, such as '3 for 2') these products are insane! They do exactly what they say they do, and everything you need them too..
I use the toner after I have removed my makeup to get rid of any dirt left on my face and for this I find it to be especially good. I also like the feel of all the products on my skin, as I find them to be refreshing and soothing to my skin.
So far, in all the time I have been using these products, they have never caused me to breakout which is always a good sign!

I know this was only a quick review, but I hope you found it helpful & I highly recommend trying them out. (If you have more sensitive skin they have all of the same products just without the cucumber extract in).

Outfit & Makeup, November 26th

Today's look, face & outfit. I went with simple makeup & a casual outfit as I had college today (like most days hahaha).  For my hair I threw it into a messy pony tail, as #1. I felt to have my hair down with the scarf and the jumper and everything else it would be too much & #2. it wouldn't go into a decent bun. [Also- sorry about the positioning of the pictures.... struggling to understand how to get images into the places I actually want them!)

Makeup
Base: Loreal True Match Foundation & Concealer ; Rimmel Translucent Pressed Powder
Eyes: Urban Decay's Naked (all over the lid), Sidecar (outer half) & Virgin (inner corner & brow highlight)
Lips: Rimmel's 'Black Tulip' Pencil Liner & Rimmel's 'One Of A Kind'
Nailpolish- Topshop's Naked

Outfit:
Scarf- H&M (£15, last year)
Midi Long Sleeved Black Dress- Topshop (£28)
Denim Jacket- Topshop (£42..i think!?)
Oatmeal/Gold Jumper- Primark (£6)
Over-knee Black Socks- Primark (£2.50)

Cherry Red Doc Martens (£70)

My trip to London

Last week I went down to London for a two day visit to look at a couple of Uni's (LOVED City University London!!), and also to spend some time with my sister (and obviously to do some shopping.. hahah). I had a really nice time & London looks even more beautiful with all it's Christmas lights up!! I especially liked Harvey Nichols' fairytale themed window displays & Regent Street's '12 Days Of Christmas' themed decorations.

I bought a couple if things whilst there- a velvet top from Monki, a sleek lipstick (I'm always on the look-out for more!) and some discopants & a jumper from Topshop.. purchases I would call essential...

Whilst there, me and my sister also took the oppurtunity for a night out at The Roxy on Tottenham Court Road- I highly recommend it there! It is quite small inside, but that's nice as it doesn't feel awkward to dance (as it would if the dance floor was like a village hall...lollllll)

Overall, a productive visit I would say! I took a few pictures while I was there (below are a few, but if you'd like to see some more check out my instagram, @georgie_alicee)

This is the makeup from our night out- I used Maybelline's eyeshadow quad, from the new collection, in Coral Gold, winged eyeliner & Sleek's Vamp on my lips.

The Christmas lights down Oxford Street.. there was also Marmite lights!!

The view from Millennium Bridge- I love London at night.. how everything glows & sparkles.. wahhh <3

Today's Look

I went with a casual and cosy outfit today- it's my Mum's and Sister's birthday, so I went to town to do some shopping & we're just having a relaxed family meal later.. (Details of outfit & makeup below)

Today face - I went for a fairly basic/casual look..
Loreal true match foundation & concealer ; Rimmel translucent pressed powder ; No7 eyebrow pencil ; Loreal eyeshadow quad for green eyes ; Rimmel gel eyeliner in black ; Maybelline colossal lashes mascara (the leopard one!!!) ; Sleek contour kit in light ; Rimmel lip pencil in Black Tulip ; Sleek lipstick in Vamp.

Today's Outfit - Topshop discopants ; Topshop 'Geek' jumper ; Newlook burgundy beanie hat ; Cherry red Doc Martens.
